Russian women's figure skater most notable for winning the 2021 World Figure Skating Championships in Stockholm, Sweden. She competed at the 2022 Olympics winning a gold medal in the women's singles event. She was a Russian national champion three years consecutively from 2019 to 2021. She became a Nike endorsed athlete in 2020 along with other sponsorships.

Before Fame

She first began ice skating as a child. A few years later, she won gold at the 2016 Russian Youth Championships. 

Trivia

She has been credited for being the first women's ice skater to land the very difficult quad lutz in an international competition.

Family Life

She was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She is one of three siblings.
