She played point guard during her high school days until she later enrolled at NYU Steinhardt to study Music Business.

Family Life
She is half Korean and half African-American. Her mother's side is from Seoul, Korea, and was raised in Queens. She has two younger sisters and once posted a photo of her mother on her Instagram page thanking her for all her sacrifices. She also owns a Siberian Husky named Cartier King.
